So, it's a soaked July Sunday in the Year of our Lord Two Thousand and Twelve. Woke up 6 this morning, so a long day. A quiet Sunday! Played an hour piano and did some stuff on my website. I love writing. I love music. Actually I love all Arts. Also modern arts, figurative and abstract, experimental an’ old.
Right now I am sitting in a garden, relaxing, waiting for a short half hour meditation. Some say I should do martial arts instead. Well, let's call it Zen what I do. It's my Way of finding the right balance. I am sure it comes close to Zen without all the slavery of old Japan.
Old Japan and the Samurais are very cool. I must have seen dozens of dozens of movies inspired on them. So let's hope I can keep up the right Spirit for the time being. Not many worries at the moment. My life is reasonably fulfilled. This can change though. One has to be prepared for even War.
Coming back to Japan I am reminded of Akira Kurosawa. An ultra idealist. His movies today seem almost of past naïveness. Something we all should be wary of. Just two decades ago they didn't. The times have changed so immensely last century that they are almost unrecognizable, the atmospheres in them depicted, the people, the Love stories, the Samurai stories.
Tokyo is an inspiration. Everything Japanese of the past is an inspiration. Their drawings, poems, stylistic architecture, martial arts, Spirituality and Way of life was something very honorable. Not that I would want all of it. Nevertheless, just the thought of old Japan gives me peace.
The mountains of those days, there, must have been beyond any Horizon. They must have been truly ‘utopic’. Mount Fuji with its snow, and Nature and animals.
Let me End today with a Japanese Flute master called Katsuya Yokoyama. His sound gives us an Idea of old Japan.
I taped it into cd. Very cool, the tranquility that is evoked from it. Let's see if I can find Katsuya on YouTube. Found it.
That was it from me, signing off this mobile entry with a song evoking old Japan, wishing you a most upbeat July Sunday and Monday, to those having already reached that time zone.
The weather, here in Amsterdam, Holland, is a mixture of rain and Sun, Sun and rain with very pleasant temperatures.
Written on the Eight of July, in the Year of our Lord Twenty-Oh-Twelve!

THE EMPEROR OF TEXAS . COM is a Godly républican safe-haven upon the Internet. A place of Ultimate Anarchy for those in no need of laws, where the ideals of a free Godly Republic of the World, A United States of the Planet as I call it, is brought to you by my very own self, the Emperor of Texas, residing at this moment in exile in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
It's called"Amsterdam July Day!" and features a lot of stuff, lots of writings and some pictures, descriptions, music and other memorabilia.
It's a packed entry, ‘synopsing’ my latest high-tech technology in HTML, high-art inferences, highly accurate no-nonsense descriptive art in Haiku-style from me-myself-and-I not only, and also features highly spiritual and Godly rumors spreading across the Seven continents, including the latest in show business, New Age, music, movies and writings.
"Ulysses V" is the place where I publish, not only, all my art, in all shapes and forms, in all formats, digital and previously analogue as well as in water color and oil in bits and Bytes, in sound and vision, in compositions and innovations, in anything that matters to me, it's also the place where I share with the entire World my vision for the Future of Humanity.
It's what the Stars are made of that you have found. It's my outlet for world hegemony, for world peace and especially highlighting the importance of Spirituality versus a socialistic or/and fascistic robotic world not even based on merit, where humans are but computers themselves and no attention is paid to the beauty of Art and its spiritual amendments to the Soul.
Don't forget to read the latest entry on Ulysses V, the Gateway to the Staaaaaaars, KEEPING OLD TIMES ALIVE!
http://www.theemperoroftexas.com/2012/07/amsterdam-july-day.html Distortion on a HTC-lens.
It ain’t faithful to the eyes as opposed to a 50-mm lens! On the other hand you get a wider vision. Good for popular photography and quick web impressions. Japanese mountain
“Japanese mountain” Painted in less than a minute in Almere penitentiary. I hate Holland and especially the Dutch justice system. Got the paint and a brush for free from a library woman working there. Thank you. Should repaint it. The theme is good.

Giant Gull (Goéland) in front of the US embassy.Construction workers have it their way in the Summer, until they came across me! It was my Eminem cds against their commercial techno. It was my synth, in Jimi Hendrix style, as loud as my equipment went. They were not amused. Yes, the poor lads wanted that I join them! No thanks. I am a hard working artist! Their hours are a joke!

C.S. Amsterdam.
Fooling around on my new HTC-camera. Light play! See if I can duplicate my old "spiegelreflex" camera effect. It looks good on the web. Reasonably faithful to the eye. Still nothing compared to a 50mm lens. A lot of distortion. Good for popular photography. Wider vision.
Balcony garden in semi-blossom. This year too much rain + had to keep them inside for three weeks because of construction work on the façade of the social housing lodge in which I live, so not very colorful.
Latest balcony flower.
New architecture in Amsterdam…
Shell impression…Electricity versus gas.
My new two-elements electric cooker. I have 100% Green energy. Gas and electricity. Gas is expensive and a waste of precious resources. My old gas cooker was more or less finished. It served its time plenty. Under me about 13 years. Before that at least 2O. Green energy is very cool and not so expensive (really) because of tax reductions, especially on electricity here in Europe. We have wasted so much gas for cooking. It's really crazy! The Earth's balance is totally 'chaosed', leaving huge holes under its tectonic plates, I guess, and making tsunamis as well as helping earthquakes to happen together with other environmental hazards such as the atomic bomb, and many others.
No, we didn't know before of this. Not true. The government has engaged in criminal activity just for the sake of the economy and believe me I am not rich. I read that it would save me 3OO euro per year. According to my calculations, this should be around 200 per annum. I'll see next year if it's true. I think it is. I just have to hope that Green electricity is really Green and not creating some new environmental hazard. It’s the 14th of July. Vive la France!
That’s it for today folks. God Bless. Thank you for this Blessed day!
