Local temperature for Amsterdam is around 64 degrees Fahrenheit this morning. It’s not a Commodore, nor a Spectrum or even a good old MSX system I own. It’s a Sony! Vaio state of the Art, a couple of years old now with a legal copy of Windows on it. It’s got about 1024RAM and RAID installed, an AMD processor 2127MHZ, quite a good one, all of it coming from Silicon Valley and the Czech Republic. That’s all I have to say.
The Internet dear readers is what is gonna s save us. That’s where we will fight our future wars. If it was up to me we’d all be living in huts with an Internet connection or on a Texan Ranch. Still Nostradamus has predicted that one day Antwerp will be a sea harbor again. Well, that’s an easy prediction. One day we will all be dead. That’s also a fact. Still the Sea-Dikes are being increased every year, a very costly operation. That’s top-secret information as not to scare off the local population.
Don’t forget one of the Dutch Marine ships came to Catherina’s rescue for the Mississippi state and actually helped in the evacuation of New Orleans. If that was of much help I don’t know. They could have done more. At least they showed their face. I made a few phone calls. No joke.
